  I found this movie deeply upsetting. As always I liked the animation and appreciated the funny moments, but I found the plot disturbing. I think I just love my mom too much, and had a hard time watching the already contentious mother daughter dynamic turn into this precarious situation. I didn’t appreciate the magical elements to the movie, and overall it was an uncomfortable watching experience.
