  what a beautiful gut wrenching movie. first off riz ahmed is such an emotionally talented actor omg. i felt a million emotions honestly every time he was on the screen. i think the best scenes were when ruben and the kid were drumming on the playground and then both of the goodbyes him and lou had. earlier in the movie ruben says something like “no one else is gonna save my life, right?” but then lou’s last words to him were “you saved my life.” tears were definitely flowing at that point.
