You know what? I see the vision! I would love to see a big budget remake of this, but the fact that he made this in his apartment for the most part is wild. Yes the effects can look a little hokey, but the storyline is really interesting and it's something I haven't seen before in a horror movie, the sides were only aspect. I really enjoyed that!

Marisa Tomei has no business being as hot as she is in this movie. That being said, she's literally THE crutch of the movie.

I immediately need to watch this again.

Hey so why didn't anybody tell me that this is one of the best fucking movies of all time. I get it now. I can't believe it took me this long to watch it. Oh my God I have to watch the rest of the series now.

You know, this wasn't terrible! Nicolas Cage is ridiculous as ever and there was just so much action and delight and pinball and soda.

LMAOOOOOO "it's because they always on they damn phone" 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Margaret Qualley is the only reason I have this at a three. I can watch her read the dictionary and it would be fascinating. Saying "phone bad" it's such a boring statement for a 10-minute film.

If you saw this movie for the first time in 1933, you absolutely would have lost your mind. Some of the effects still hold up fairly well, but I wish there was a bit more substance to it, rather than it just being screaming for the 80% of the movie. Also I would sell my soul to look like Fay Wray.

Jack Quaid is the best part of this movie. A fun beat-um-up romp with two big budget action stars in a goofy, explosion filled, streaming movie! Grab you popcorn and turns off your brain for a bit.

I literally was watching with my shirt wrapped around my neck and nose for half the movie. This scared the hell out of me.

I didn't know they made coming of age movies for people in their thirties. But seriously I really enjoyed this film. Beautiful location and wonderful score. A film that you kind of need in the right moment. I think this was the right moment for me to watch this. Saoirse is electric to watch and you feel along with her in all of the range of emotions.

"we're Democrats" lmfaoooo. I really enjoyed this movie! As a Coen brother solo project it's pretty damn good. Just the right amount of star power to drive it along. The comedy was well paced, the acting was top-notch, and surprisingly had a happy ending that was really romantic??? In a weird way??? Definitely going to watch this again. Easy popcorn movie.

The acting, the script, the terrifying mechanical shark is all magnificent. The back story is that they all tell when they're drunk on the boat I think it's one of the best scenes in cinema. The dolly shot when he's on the beach is so perfect to epitomize his anxiety. I'm so glad I watched this again!
