  At no point in this entire movie did I fully understand what anyone's motivations were or why they would possibly give a shit about each other let alone fall in love. But that montage of Paul Rudd getting drunk near the beginning is classic Rudd comedy, Reese Witherspoon is doing her thing, even Owen Wilson has his Wilsony moments. Why are any of them in this though???

  There are so many things to love about this movie. The ending was one of the most effective I've ever seen and the impact would not have been the same without every single minute that had come before it. Anyone who wants to edit a fucking second of the runtime out of this movie has to fight me Black Knight style to even fucking try. The cast is perfect, the pacing is wonderful, you can see Scorsese in every scene. I can't wait to watch it again when it hits Netflix.
