A Woman Under the Influence 1974
Wow to me Gina Rowlands portrayal was all too real having met many Mabel’s. Thank Goodness for Nicks Mama but alas I think there are too many Nicks out there who at times may appear loving but who struggle with their rage and as a result Mabel’s behaviour take a turn for the worse. There is no happy ending here as the young children’s love is not enough. An extremely powerful story about the ongoing struggle of individuals mental health and domestic violence 😔
