  Movies are empathy machines. You are able to take a deep dive into another reality, into another life. You are living through a very stressful late shift in this case. You hate some of the patients, you want to cuddle some of the patients (or you want to adopt an old dog, whose owner is desperate about the fate of his furry buddy). You get anxiety, you start to cry, you are sad because of this reality. It is all so devastating. Tax the rich, pay nursing staff more money!

  Wildest meet-cute. Sensational female characters (shu-shu is sick, two bits of paper in her nose to stop the sneezing, but then she is smoking and takes one out to blow the smoke out through her nose … and it is delightful comedy)! It is not  a romantic comedy but romantic slapstick! 
  But then there is a rape scene which is camouflaged as a joke and it ruined the entire movie for me.

  Showing us a work place, where you can heal from your suffering, where caring co-workers bring you snacks to show their attentiveness, where the set-up of a portable planetarium is the annual highlight. A work place of which all the moviegoers will dream of. I will for sure. And inside this place evolves a beautiful friendship. Despite the hardships in the protagonists life the film is warm and tender and soft. 
  To have movies full of kindness is a relief in these times, movies to escape to, not to forget, but to remember what we could be to each other.

  I love how this movie enchants and challenges me simultaneously. I want to dissect character development and how the visual stimulates my perspective on Bella. And I always enjoy when the first watch opens so many questions that I want to rewatch it immediately: do I like the ending or do I think that it contradicts some of the core values of the movie? Why Felicity? Do I think that the philosophy of the story is too on the nose…
