  This was the hardest I’ve laughed in theatres for a long time. Loved the metaness. I would say over the top but that was on purpose. Well worth the 24 hour binge of the other x-men movies. And the musical references were fantastic. Highlights include the fight in the car, and the long scroll of the fight with the bus wink wink.

  Though not as well known or good as the next in the trilogy, this movie had all of the fantastic aspects of a great movie- acting, writing, cinematography, and the music (especially the music). On top of being wonderfully done, the first half was incredibly campy, with goofy sounds effects, silly one liners, and insane gun duels. The battle of the hats was a favorite moment, and the underlying semi-queerness of the movie certainly was an added bonus.

  Seen in theatres during Studio Ghibli Fest. Highlights include the music, animation style, and story. Grateful to have watched it on the big screen and hoping to go to other events!
