a lighthearted film with a star-studded cast that can be used as a litmus test for idiots who lack self-awareness and empathy. it was enlightening and disappointing to see the types of reception this movie had among different (male) audiences on social media.

good cgi, nice acting, and suspenseful plot, albeit for noriko’s death and subsequent revival being a bit strange. overall i liked the message about choosing life over unnecessary valiant sacrifice.
this was a pleasantly surprising film despite the very odd and borderline illegal premise. i thought it was interesting how the lack of emotional intimacy in sex is portrayed as a product of toxic masculinity that can be present in both men and women.
