The epitome of a coming-of-age teen movie (right up there with Lady Bird). I see myself so much in this film that it almost hurts. I remember watching it right before starting high school, and it felt like a hug. Even now, I still relate to it so much, and every time I watch it, it heals something in me. It’s the closest I’ll ever feel to being 14 again.
Also, my first contact with Rocky Horror, and for that alone, it's a 5-star.
