    I think I need one more viewing to give a full quality review.

    There is A LOT of added value having read the book. I have so much more appreciation for it now.

    Every scene has a direct and clear purpose for me. I can really tell the point for each shot. To me, that is perfect construction and crafting of a film.

    Overall fun. Don’t expect Parasite (2019), and it’s a nice time.

    Mark Ruffalo is great. That one scene is oddly similar to the Trump assassination.

    It was less of a mind-fuck than I thought it would be. Much more focused on the consequences of his duplication.

    Yes, the de-aging is bad, but I mean who cares. At least for me it doesn’t take away any enjoyment from the film.

    I really enjoy the title cards that pop up mid-scene that say how all the mobsters die twenty years down the line.

    I do believe that this is the peak Scorsese gangster film. Everything is so polished and perfectioned. Also it’s a lifetime movie, so definitely hits one of my weaknesses.

    Somehow better than the movie itself. But it also makes the movie better now that you know the story behind it. They really go hand in hand with each other.

    Very impressive feat from Orson Welles. Looked like a blast to shoot.

    It makes his death so much more sad. Especially the cameraman’s story. The footage of him laughing and the other guy saying : “He let you film that?” is heartwarming.
