Moana should have died at the end. It was along the message of the film : history isn't made by people, but by movements and ideas. Moana would have died a legend, joining the spirit of her ancestors, and her little sister would have continued her legacy. Aside from that, good classic Disney film.

This is the definition of a shitty, beautiful film. The aesthetic is neat, but it's boring as hell : I don't care about Jonathan and Mila, you never get to build a connection with them. All the other characters aside from Lucy and Dracula are rushed, the romance between the count and Mila is too much of a coincidence (he hasn't seen anyone in probably years and Jonathan's wife is the reincarnation of his lost love?), and all the mysticism doesn't blend with the scientificism of this era. Watch it if you want, but you won't find Coppola's genius.

Loved the film, but for me, it's not a 5 stars because Tahi is so much a bitch that she doesn't feel real to me. She is so manipulative and psychopathic that she can only be a movie character. The rest of the film was awesome.

This was really confusing. It reminds me of a JJ Abrams kind of performance: the conclusion doesn't matter if the mystery is cool enough. But no, you got to give the spectator some kind of explanation and coherence. The tension was amazing, but all the mystic stuff is never explained! I have read on Reddit that the first half is Diane's dream, and then it goes back to reality, but it can't be, because we have a lot of scenes…
