The Boy and the Heron 2023
a really satisfying film, maybe because the slight historical reference? who knows. smooth storyline, fitting themes and overall it flows incredibly well. will have to watch again to give a more genuine rating but so far so good.
only draw back is the ending scene, something along the lines of “two years later we move back to tokyo…”
and then? what ? felt a little too abrupt after what had just transpired, but that might just be me.Translated from by -
