  Kristen Stewart was so gorgeous & Jonny Greenwood's score was striking.

  Something about this doesn't sit right with me, though. To loosely quote another reviewer, it felt like a weird bit of pretentious historical fanfiction.

  Haunting and beautiful. I definitely cried.

  It seemed to me almost like a Buddhist parable, artfully painting the reality of impermanence and the erosion of our perception of control. Trust in the flow.
