honestly, this was quite underwhelming and my mom literally fell asleep 15 minutes into us watching this 💀
i did, however, like the random new little chat feature got where moana and her sister could send messages to each other through the water—that was cute asf.
and given how grim the global perspectives on multiculturalism seem to be these days, the ending where everyone was sharing their ancestral experiences and knowledge was very sweet :,)
this was so so sooooo cool, i can’t imagine how much more exhilarating it would be to watch these great mechanical beasts clashing together in an interminable spiral of frenzied ambushes that leave you utterly overwhelmed

the ending had me floored like… HUH?? pete davidson’s character being so utterly stupid set off this whole thing?? this is so absurd and such a wonderful parody of gen z and i kind of love it !
the fact that 82,000 victims have come forward (and there are likely thousands more that haven’t, or never had the chance to) and the BSA representatives still deny their fault is utterly disgusting.
i hope that every single victim can continue their journey towards healing…
