A trap that befalls a fair couple of mainstream movies that place the eco-critical at the center of their thematic message (Food Inc, The Lorax, etc.) is the inaction of this central message. We all hate meat, oil and burned down rainforests. Am I right, guys? AM I RIGHT, GUYS!

So this was watched with my extended family over some boardgames and wine.
I was entranced by this movie. Completely. It has a lot of pretty women 🥰. It also more importantly has a puncturing witty self-deprecating charm that is still so full of itself in confidence and comedic competence.
