I'm not even going to pretend I understood how this movie worked. I had to read a chart to understand how this concept of time travel worked, then another chart and several articles to piece together a coherent idea of what was going on. I've never felt so stupid watching a movie before.
I love it.
Imagine Jerry Bruckheimer and Steven Spielberg had a love child one night in 1978 after a romantic three course dinner, then had a falling out and raised the child in two separate households that were strikingly similar but slightly different.
The child would be Jungle Cruise.
I knew this was going to be great when I heard quotes such as "I'm gonna sleep in your bloody carcasses tonight" and "Welcome to Fuck town".
