  1st tear shed:
  seeing the look of travis’ face when hunter sees him but doesn’t approach and proceeds to go with his friend instead. 

  2nd tear shed: watching travis go through the 5 stages of grief while watching the film on the projector. 

  3rd tear shed:
  “i never felt like you were dead. i could always feel you walking around and talking..someplace . i feel mom too. don’t you?” -the most intelligent mature 8 year old i’ve ever seen.
