Re-watching this movie was great! I rewatched it because my friend Will is reading the book and wanted to watch the movie. I can’t describe the look on his face when he saw the plot twist. When I was re-watching it I also picked up on a lot of things since I’ve read the book now. Overall GREAT movie and now Will and I might dress up as Tyler Durden and The Narrator for Halloween next year!

I love this movie. Every scene is quotable and it’s a great movie to re-watch if you haven’t scene it in a while and generally great. I also LOVED how there were multiple endings like Clue.

Blade Runner 1982
It’s crazy how much this film affected film and more. It was the first Sci-Fi film which is crazy to think about and it predicted digital billboards and FaceTime. I didn’t know the Geisha eating candy was from Blade Runner, I thought it was original from the South Park: Post Covid Special so I guess that shows something. It was VERY slow but I liked the neon future vibe and the crazy ending gained it half a star. If anyone’s questioning, I watched the Final Cut since I know there’s like 5 cuts.

This was a great movie. The story was great and I loved at the end showing that Chris and Rod are good friends and they would do anything for each other. At the end of this movie I don’t know if this is for every screening but it showed Jordan Peele talking about the alternative ending and that was cool with him talking about the meaning in his perspective (The Director’s Perspective). He talked about how Chris went back to try to save Georgina because he felt like he was in the situation of not saving his mom.
