it’s always nice to have a reminder of movies that have characters that you can just ADORE, with both cousins feeling the absolute realest in the way they act and carry themselves. culkin and eisenberg have such chemistry that it feels silly to remember they’re not actually related. i fell in love with movies because there’s something to be said about characters that feel so broken and vulnerable in their own ways. i can’t get enough of that intimacy.
