  probably david lynch's most and least freudian movie. the entire thing is a psychoanalytic ascent-descent chain and yet it entirely contradicts the idea of female hysteria in favor of male fragility. i'm gonna need to rewatch this one to really appreciate it

  when i was a kid i would always imagine myself with the head of a cartoon character before i walked into school. i guess i never bothered to analyze why they were always girls.
