I really wanted to like this movie, I just couldn’t. It was edited very frenetically, especially in the action scenes, and yet it still felt like nothing really happened, or at least nothing I cared about (with the exception of the Bond Girl’s plotline, the only emotionally engaging thing here).

Because of cultural osmosis, it’s a shame that a lot of the major stuff in this movie has been “spoiled” for me for years. I wasn’t the biggest fan of John Connor, but at the end of the day, this was a phenomenal movie.

To start, Clark Baxtresser’s original music for the introduction of the…

Firebringer was the last show StarKid made before the dawn of the Hatchetfield series, and in my opinion, it’s much better than many give it credit for. The music is phenomenal; genuinely some of the best ever made for a StarKid show based on how each performer’s voice blends together into an amazing sounding whole. Meredith Stepien and Mark Swiderski outdid themselves. The set design and use of lit up props and shadow projections at key moments combine very well…
