  “I am post-gender. I am pre-chaos. I am, and you know.” Maybe one of my favorite Trecartin films yet. It’s extra surrealist and stupid and the effects are taken to the max, to think this was made in 2003 feels crazy and really goes to show how ahead of the curve he was with the conversations had in it and speaks to how such a surreal hand-made distortion can have nothing to do with ai. He doesn’t shy away from being wack and unorthodox in every moment of his work and it can be felt through and through that it’s supposed to be everything it isn’t

  This was mostly funny. Some heartfelt moments i think of what could have been. they really hate having a nice moment for the dolls, i get that. It captures a warped and bleached teenage experience in many ways we are obviously absent of, but hitting on some key moments. Cusps, of decision and action that coalesce into bullshit.
  Shot gorgeously of course, truly some sexy design if i can say that. Aeroclapped were the three shady fates that capture my sisters…
