Dune: Part Two 2024
I think adaptations are so easy and so difficult in that you can—and can’t—hide if you’ve misused the material. Dune was (since the beginning) crippled with groundwork of weak foundations, and with Part Two it became increasingly obvious. There is a fair bit of overcompensation in this film, and you realise very quickly that the fruit of the story is actually in the first part.
