I never write reviews on here, but this one deserves it. I am the same age as the director and I connected with this movie like nothing I have before. It is so weird seeing 2008 through the eyes of someone else who experienced it like me. I not only cried from the story beats from this film, but also out of pure nostalgia and connection. If you were in high school around this time, had issues at home, and also felt like you didn't belong: this is the one.
