I felt like I was drowning watching the movie so I guess the film was effective that way.
Besides a couple quips and jokes thrown in, all but a select one or two feeling awkwardly placed, the film is all around a shitfest. Actors were decent, visual effects were mid, and there’s a blobfish monster human thing (spoiler) that kinda looked like an adult version of a monster from Scooby Doo.
