  the complete antithesis of Perfect Days, more like Dehumanising Days

  very understated, but i found a lot of it really relatable and confronting: coming home after a shift collapsing on your bed, coat still on, whilst doom scrolling in the dark; the lonely existence of flat sharing with a changing carousel of strangers and the repetitive, surface level interactions that environments like that foster. soul crushing stuff.

  a fever dream!! couldn't believe what i was looking at, every frame is a matte painting!! as soon as that danny elfman score kicked in i knew this was going to be soooo up my alley, and i promptly switched my brain off. so pulpy, and so stupid. this is what al pacino should've won his oscar for.

  they should've let warren beatty make dozens of these.
