The Brutalist is stylistically a one-of-a-kind film we don’t get to see very often in these last few decades :)
The journey portrays struggles of love and separation, war trauma, drug addiction, betrayal, lust of power, abuse, rich wickedness, artistic ambition, and individual mental instabilities that goes for almost every character🫣
First half is a masterpiece, very pulling to the overall feeling of the movie. The second half in my opinion could have chosen different paths to expand…

i believe this movie is looked down on just because of those imagination scenes, but the director did a fantastic job portraying the true evilness and jealousness a human’s heart can have. amazing story of Malena, beautiful cinematography, many meanings and teachings, great pacing.
