the dialogue was cringe at some points, and there wasn’t any authentic sounding line delivery within this movie outside of “Kwame Ture’s” speech in the beginning.
Patrice, and Rons relationship was also pretty stupid. any real life party member would’ve immediately cut ties with him once they realized he was a fed.

The cinematographies great, but I don’t think there was anything else in this film that would’ve made it special to me if it weren’t for the eventual mental breakdown he experiences. The shouting, the isolation, the hopelessness. All topped with the continuous wall punching which was even more depressing given that was all he had from the time his father used him as entertainment; Until the eventual end of his notorious boxing career. Anybody who’s ever been at their lowest will know what he felt in that moment.
