Solid art, environment and setting of the story. All the scenes were visceral, and scenes kept me guessing what would happen next.
Loved the subtle and non subtle references to womanhood and society's expectations of what a woman should be. From the beginning where she was forced her hand in moving from Singing to Acting by her manager and financial whims, her image problem turns into something broader while she encounters various situations.

Watching this film in one sitting was slightly challenging due to its deliberately slow pacing. However, I feel this approach adds depth, with scenes crafted to capture the awkwardness of a high school relationship, drawing us, the viewer into its most intimate moments as a reluctant voyeur. Despite my personal inability to relate— lack of relationships—the movie resonated deeply with me. I found myself both cheering and groaning alongside Meera on her brief yet heartfelt journey.
Side note: It also brought to mind the essence of "Margazhi" from Modern Love: Chennai. Thought someone would like it if they like Girls will be girls
