This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Simply a wonderfully well-rounded movie that has everything you could want in a sci-fi body horror, mystery movie.
The lighting, cinematography and especially the special effects make-up are extremely breathtaking and I can hardly believe that the movie is already 43 years old. Incredibly impressive work that still shocks today. (Note to self, I really need to watch BTS material on the making of this movie...)
Also the story seems timeless and hasn't lost any of its effectiveness or charm…

Under the Skin 2013
Before I saw the movie, I came across the soundtrack by Mica Levi, who also did the one for “The Zone of Interest”, which also made a big impression on me (especially the opening scene...)
The soundtrack of “Under the Skin” also immediately grabbed me and gave me an incredibly uncomfortable feeling, which is why I really wanted to see the movie.
