Lawrence of Arabia 1962
Fucking insane that this came out in 1962. The 4 hours didn’t drag for a single second (sidenote: I did watch this in like 3 different sittings). I was really concerned going in that this was just gonna be a white saviour movie but I can safely say it was not. I love war, politics, history, and a good character arc and this had all of it. Absolute banger.
My one gripe: Alec Guinness in brownface really caught me off guard. Why in the fuck.
