This movie is 20 years old this year and I think it still has something so visceral in its storytelling that can not be experienced except by watching it. The visuals are stunning and the acting sells this movie like nothing else.
It breaks your heart just as much on rewatches even knowing the ending. This is a must watch for anyone but will always be a movie I think can not be overstated in its impact on the viewer.…Translated from by -
Dracula's Daughter 1936
Everything it promises to be. Its a very quick watch at only 70 minutes, I definitely think it is worth the watch to add to your historical film watchlist. Amazing acting from Gloria Holden, but it is a movie of its time. Give it a watch if just for the lesbian undertones and the killer orchestral arrangements.
