Barbie 2023
They took what was supposed to be a fun Barbie kids movie and turned it into a freaking lecture about feminism – give me a break! I did not sign up for this! I would have appreciated it if the feminist take was more subtle, but I was bombarded with cringey "lady boss" speeches. Don't get me wrong, I understand feminism, but there are much better and more subtle ways to depict it in a movie. It’s a total pass for me. I'd rate it a 0.
