The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
A HUGE fan of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games book series. I have read the book this movie was based on a few times since it came out.
(PS sorry for the essay I made a project in highschool about how I would go about a film adaptation of this book. I am very passionate about this… apparently.)
I highly appreciate the book accuracy in terms of plot. The casting accuracy was 50/50 in my opinion.

i loved the color/saturation of the film with the old film style editing. the music was on point and i appreciated the touch of the different type of microphone and/or voice filter to match the movie style. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL performance from mia goth. it is clear how much time and work she put into her performance/character. the shot lengths during the film were very impressive (mia goths monologue was mind blowing and that ending shot was just great). can’t wait to watch x.
