That initial reveal was so well orchestrated and would’ve been a gag if marketing hadn’t given it all away.
Either way, it was such a fun concept and a rollercoaster from the get go.
Iris killing Jack Quaid may have been the happiest day of my life too because he was so foul. No one plays an asshole boyfriend better than him at this point.

moving Smile to a pop star was such a smart move - but it did feel like it was missing something. Could’ve done with some more fame/pop trauma rather than car crashes and Pizza Hut.
The “it was all a dream” reveal kinda killed all momentum and drive. She’s essentially locked into a psychic virtual reality session with no real means of escape or autonomy which removed all stakes for me.
That aside, Naomi Scott carried. She was so good…
