  Why did the director, star, and post-rock composers of the film Friday Night Lights (2004) reunite to make this INCREDIBLY brutal and bleak revisionist western series? Also, it’s bold and crazy that they took the entire religion of Mormonism except like 2 individuals and made them pretty diabolical and uncomplicated bad guys? I didn’t know that was allowed. Life is full of mysteries. 

  Plus one star for violent historical realism. Minus one star for violent historical realism. I don’t know…
