  Maybe I just "didn't get it," but I pretty much didn't like anything about this film. It's somehow bizarre and boring at the same time, and none of the characters were interesting or engaging. The performances were solid, but idk I just didn't have fun watching this

  Incredibly fun movie and surprisingly very faithful to the book. The acting was fantastic (especially Rebecca Ferguson and Oscar Isaac) and the costume design was phenomenal. Visually very stunning; every set piece feels so deliberately crafted and perfectly conceived. The VFX are also very well integrated. All of the huge climactic sequences are well balanced and a welcome change of pace from the political drama stuff (which is, for the record, also very well done). The movie does end in…

  Incredibly boring movie and lukewarm performance from every single actor; not one memorable event in the entire film. Tons of gratuitous nudity and unfunny sex jokes. Weirdly progressive about transgender individuals and drag queens so that's a plus, I guess?
