Appreciated this more on the second watch. The disturbing parts stay disturbing, and I noticed this time just how much violence is lurking in empty hallways, billowing curtains, and most of all, staircases.
I remember thinking on my first watch that the ending had a clear sinister undertone to it, a statement that the cycle of violence that had just ended was about to begin again. I don’t remember what made me feel that way, because that’s not at all…
