Drive 2023
Leading up to the suspense was really nicely spaced. We got to know how the main character got to where she was and how her personality never really changed. She was desperately trying to be famous and after successful wanted to maintain relevance. The suspense was super immense it felt so real. The theme was to be honest or to not abuse influence/power. But really I feel like the parasocial relationship developed was the main issue at hand halfway through the movie at least.

Sorry to Bother You 2018
It felt like it was dragging on in the beginning but it picked up after like 40 minutes so it was worth it. The meat and potatoes of the story is really good. I felt like the intimate moments were a bit too prominent, but besides that pretty good. The social commentary really carried the rating for me!
