  What a convoluted Frankenstein of editing that somehow works so well. Real talk this movie is a mess but it somehow pulls it all off.  Clearly a very new vibe of a movie that felt like an experiment. However, I don’t think it should be tried again or used as a formula. Let this movie be this movie. Very fun very enjoyable. Would watch again and probably pick up some things that were missed in the first watch because of the confusing editing choices.

  An enjoyable early 2000s action film. My problems with it are that it was too long, overwritten, and it gave off the vibe that the director was really feeling himself on this one. The second act drug on wayyyyy too long. However, the first act does a great job of establishing the premise, and the third act picks up most the pieces that act two left behind. My rating would’ve been a 2 1/2 is it weren’t for how well the last 45 minutes were done.

  All around good movie. Good plot set ups and good callback/references. A lot of underlying social commentary on the use and mistreatment of animals in the entertainment industry. It also had a few good laughs.

Following
