  what i loved:
  • this pushes against sci-fi cliches in a way i found refreshing; the idea of space expeditions being messy, haphhazard, and led by righteous baffoons seems *more true to life* than the military-style expeditions we're using to seeing
  • i also appreciated having a sweet dopey main character in a movie like this. im tired of sci-fi movies led by gruff men with furrowed brows and repressed emotions.

  • seems like everyone had fun, especially Maslany
