Everything Christopher Nolan touched is exceptional. So many iconic scenes from this movie.

Cinematography and audio design are exceptional. By itself, the plot of this film is kind of boring. That being said, with the context of the books and the sequel, it sets a good foundation. Scenes are exceptionally long (in a bad way) and you need subtitles to understand the dialog.
