Past Lives 2023
Subtle and poignant, just absolutely beautiful. First film I've seen that makes me tear up exactly in the last couple of seconds, like a cherry on top after you finish the sundae. This is such an intimate experience that connects on so many levels. Although I've never personally been through that scenario, I'm sure people that come from countries where family, friends and, partners emigrate fairly frequently will understand the feeling of an interrupted relationship.

What a nice, yet heartbreaking movie. One of the best biopics I've ever seen. The movie treats its subjects with respect as they portray brotherly love that will have anyone thinking of their own family. Zac Efron gives his most career defining role, to this day, in a very subtle and relatable performance. The whole movie is well acted and playing a family just seemed effortless for all the actors.

The best Bind film, by far. Every act of this movie is just pure joy. This is how you take a franchise, treat it with respect, while also subverting expectations and breaking with its own old tropes. Best Bond, best Bond girl, best intro with the best song, and a realistic villain.
