Probably could be 2 stars. Overhyped by the bringing back of godizlla this movie shows all you need is Godzilla for a good movie. The problem is godizlla is barely in the movie but when he is it’s amazing. Furthermore, you can barely see $hit. Never thought it could get this dark. However it is ok and godizlla vs mutos is amazing. I found the main character(the guy in the military) was somewhat interesting but  dragged out and his story gets kind of boring. I will say for the first installment it’s alright and fortunately for the monster verse the movies just got better and better.

You would think they wouldn’t be able to surpass the first one. But man you would be wrong. Unfortunately letterbox only allows for 5 stars max. I saw this because the movie is simply to good to be out in scale. Showing other animated movies they don’t have to be for kid. The movie is good enough to make a grown man cry. Perfection.

With a lot of the American movies theirs not much s good story, acting, or dialogue. However, Godzilla king of the monsters does bring some of that. Turn off ur brain and forget about the story, and you have great kaiju fights with some of the best cgis. Keep your brain on and you will see a decent story with some good to average acting. Overall King Of The Monsters is a good addition to the American franchise and is able to show why kaiju fights on the big screen is worth a watch.
