    Weekend at Bernie's may seem like a film that would be impossible to create a sequel to. Aside from not making any sense, it would just be beating a dead horse with the humor. At least that was what I assumed after hearing a sequel did exist and figured it wouldn't be worth watching.

    I wholeheartedly believe that this film was created simply to be a sideshow of pretty backgrounds, because every other aspect of the production was seemingly thrown to the wayside.

    The plot is basic, the characters are sparse AND basic, and the film has nothing else to get you invested into what's happening on screen. Most scenes are completely devoid of any meaningful interactions and instead just showcase the beautiful nature backgrounds.
