An electrifying masterpiece of a movie. It is uniquely stylized, incredibly campy, and downright corny. But, by far, a thrilling experience with some of the cheesiest emotional beats. The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024
Honestly, the joke when Daffy was verbally getting into it with the woman ordering coffee and him saying, “Am I on camera?” was the peak of my laughter. A lot of the humor really worked for me too. It was fun and I wanted to support animation and see my favorite Looney Goons. Especially hearing it was leaving theaters on Sunday.
My daughter calls it the Porky Pig movie.

Nolan’s masterpiece on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer sells itself in an amazing fashion, while also subtly jabbing the recent norms of Hollywood and it’s ideology of a “blockbuster” film. Boasting a budget less than 50% of that of recent Marvel projects, Nolan might as well have given the finger to modern day cinema, while also completely outclassing them in regards to acting, editing, music, cinematography, etc.
