Saltburn 2023
When it started I thought this is and odd recreation of "Call me by your name". Then I checked the director and understood that sooomething doesn't seem right. This movie will burn in a part of my brain for a while. If you want a fast, gross and funny movie - here is your pick.

Šis filmas buvo nuostabus. Supratau, kad reikia žiūrėti daugiau lietuviško kino, kurį jau buvau švelniai tariant apleidusi. Švelnus humoras, imtymumas siekiantis lubas. Nors režisierė NARA tinklalaidėje minėjo, kad pirmoji filmo dalis yra miela ir paprasta, visgi radau daug mažų paslapčių, kurios gal ir nebuvo sąmoningos, bet man jos pasirodė reikalingos ir svarbios. Džiaugiuosi, kad aseksualumo tema nebuvo vaizduojama nuvalkiotai ar paprastai, kaip dažnai vaizduojamos seksualinės orientacijos kine, bet kartu ir nesijautė, kad tai yra filmo pagrindas. Aseksualumas buvo puikiai parinktas ardyti meilės, intymumo ar sekso idėjas. Džiaugiuosi, kad nepatingėjau nueiti.

This movie hit close to home. The depth of Vincent's imagination is so unbareable yet addictive. The contrast between his view of the world and how other people saw it was what drove him to destruction. This man was not an introverted artist. He needed people, their nature, their opinions and admiration, but when the world turned it's back to him, his art started to make no sense. How can this beautiful and content world be so cruel and unloving? This movie will stick to my brain for a long time.
