  star studded with such insane musical talent, performances and vocals… i was in a constant state of jaw dropped every time jennifer hudson opened her mouth to sing! like dang! j hud as effie was easily the most compelling & best written character of the plot in my humble opinion. really fun watch!!!

  honestly by the halfway mark of this movie, i found it pretty hard to stay on track with the plot. daniel craig did a good job at portraying themes of yearning, internalized homophobia, & intimacy, with drew starkey as a well suited choice who was able to keep up. 

  i was able to sort of understand the core message this movie was getting across, aka queerness and the anxiety of not truly knowing someone else. lee gets endlessly drunk, has reckless…

  park chanwook does an amazing job at giving us a cleverly written protagonist and an even more cleverly written, cunning and compelling female counterpart. it was a thrilling kind of cat and mouse game from start to finish, an interesting way to show a kind of devotion that pushes the limits. 

  other than the plot that kept me drawn in the whole time i watched this, the shots were done in a fun way, with the zooms, pans and everything…
