  Aaron Pierreee!! It was a cute lil movie with catchy songs for the most part. Was this story the needed?? No. Were the hyper realistic lions freaking me out at first? Yes. Have I always wanted a brothaaa? yes!! 

  I was introduced to the song before i watched the movie so i was an absolute menace, so sorry Ajani.

  Watched this Twice already and memorized the soundtrack atp. We needed to bring back wholesome, whimsical musicals for the children!! Ariana shines as Galinda and I can tell this was what she prepared for her whole life. Cynthia captured the awkward, headstrong, bold yet ostracized black girl that I needed to see as a kid. It was so beautiful, and immersive. I only wish the colours were less muted at times, and the villains didnt do it for me

  If Ice Age and Wall-E had a wholesome baby itd be Mikey 17. It was hilarious and I dont think Ill get C3 out of my mind anytime soon looll.  Also, all the main characters were hot, so extra points!

  Idc what yall say, regular mcu movies are back! Reminded me of the winter soldier, my fav mcu movie btw, in the sense that it was down to earth and grounded in what was familiar. I also loved the filming choice/style with the retro james bond-esque shots. I know thats an unpopular opinion. 

  Pacing however trumped this movie. We went from a whole lot of nothing then leaped into a final big battle with no conflicts resolved whatsoever. Ending felt rushed and story-line was definitely half baked. I hate when marvel movies do that, but alas I got black cap so can i rlly be mad.
