It's weird because the thing that I liked in the film is the same thing I disliked.
Anora follows the story of a young sex worker who marries a rich Russian young client who seemed to fall in love with her.
I loved that Sean Baker chose to tell this story from a perspective that differs from the usual emotional woman behind the babydoll, and instead, he delivers a character that actually seems to have fun doing her job.
